Your boat day starts before the boat. This page is the answer to every "wait, where do I…" question we've ever been asked — where to go, where to park, what time to be there and what to have in your bag. Read it once the night before and the morning takes care of itself.
Where we leave from
All our trips depart from Marina Puerto Chico in Fajardo, on the east coast of Puerto Rico.

Getting here
Driving. Fajardo is on the east end of the island. From the San Juan metro area, take PR-66 east to PR-3 and follow signs to Fajardo.

Add time for morning traffic leaving San Juan. Aim to arrive early — the boat doesn't wait, and the sandbar is better before the crowds.
Parking
Free parking at the marina.
What time to be there
Be at the dock 15 minutes before your departure time — the exact time is in your confirmation.
Check-in takes a few minutes: meet your captain, life-jacket sizing, a quick safety brief, and you're off.
Running late? Message us on WhatsApp the moment you know. A heads-up changes what we can do; silence doesn't.
What to bring
Included on board: lunch, beer, soft drinks, snorkel gear, and a Bluetooth speaker — bring your playlist.
Your bag:
- Reef-safe sunscreen and a hat
- Towel
- Dry bag or zip bag for phone and keys
- Water shoes (optional, useful on the reef edge)
- Motion-sickness tablet if you're prone — take it an hour before departure, with food
- Light cover-up for the ride home
- Cash for the captain's tip, if you'd like to leave one
- Your ID
Leave behind: glass bottles, anything you can't get wet, valuables you don't need.
The boat
Details on each boat — size, capacity, restroom, shade — are on the trip pages and in your confirmation.
Weather, honestly
We don't promise weather. Your captain checks real conditions at the marina the morning of your trip and makes the call. Rain in San Juan often means sun in Fajardo — the east coast has its own weather — so don't cancel on yourself because it's grey in Condado.
If the captain cancels: we reschedule first, and refund in full if no date works. No arguing, no fine print.
After the trip
You'll be salty, sunburned in one spot you missed, and hungry again. The Fajardo waterfront has casual spots for a late lunch or a beer within a few minutes of the marina. Ask your captain where they eat.
We'll message you the next day to ask how it went — that's how we keep our captains honest and our recommendations sharp.
